Arsenal and MG Motor UK today revealed an exciting multi-year collaboration that will see the UK automaker take on the role of Official Automotive Partner for the team.

This year, as it celebrates its 100th anniversary, MG will provide support to Arsenal's women's and men's teams. Fans can also expect to see their brand displayed at Meadow Park and Emirates Stadium.

Additionally, MG and Arsenal will collaborate to produce interesting content aimed at enticing the club's fan base around the world. MG Motor UK's Commercial Director, Guy Pigounakis, states: "MG's centenary year is a significant chapter in our story. We are excited to join Arsenal." Not only do we cheer on a globally renowned team, but we also hope to further the sport's future by promoting the development of women's professional football and demonstrating our love for the greatest game of all time.

Chief Commercial Officer of Arsenal Juliet Slot stated: "We are thrilled to have MG join our family of partners. This company is well-known for its past and tradition, but they also bring with them a progressive outlook that fits well with our club's goals. We are thrilled that MG can join us on our own path of long-term growth as they celebrate their centenary, and we look forward to collaborating with them to promote their line of industry-leading environmentally friendly electric cars”.

With over 80,000 new cars sold in its home market of the United Kingdom alone in 2023, MG has cemented itself as one of the nation's most popular electric vehicle companies. The much awaited Cyberster convertible, which promises some genuinely thrilling performances, will lead the queue for the British manufacturer when the 2024–2025 season starts. It will join an MG team already full of top motoring talent. This includes the MG4 EV, which since its 2022 premiere has won over 30 awards. Most recently, it took home the title of Best Small Electric Car of the Year for the second consecutive year at the What Car? Awards.
