Pan-Atlantic University Students Allegedly Cyber Bully Their Peers Using an Anonymous Website

Pan-Atlantic University’s first year students are allegedly being harassed by their peers on an anonymous website.

According to a business administration student that wishes to remain anonymous, the link to the website was posted to the class’s group WhatsApp on Wednesday, with the instruction that students could go on to write their opinions of their classmates.

Another student who also wishes to remain anonymous claims that Economics, Information Science and Media Studies (ISMS) and Business Administration Year 1 department all use the website in varying degrees.

According to her, students in the Economics department use the website intensely. She reported seeing explicit messages about parents that were ‘description of sexually positions to put certain classmates in, who is kind, has a nice smile, is arrogant, or has a body odor, and the most beautiful and the most handsome people in the class.

An economics student has said that the messages have caused resulted in tense interactions and relationships between his classmates.

The source also disclosed that usage predates their admission into the university. She said first learnt about the website three years ago.
